Apple starts recruiting generative AI talent

Apple is bolstering its expertise in generative artificial intelligence for use on the iPhone and iPad, the Cupertino-based tech giant is hiring for dozens of roles working on large-scale language modeling (LLM) at its offices in California, Seattle, Paris, and Beijing, according to a report in the FT. All of these positions were advertised between April and July. Bloomberg reported last month that Apple began experimenting with its own ChatGPT-like tool late last year. (Interface)
